How do I validate an account?

1. Go to www.gValidate.com and Sign in.
2. Click the ‘Add Bank Account’ button.
3. Enter your account information and click ‘Submit’.
4. Wait for 2 micro-deposits to show on your bank account.
5. Sign in to gValidate.com, locate your bank account and click ‘Validate’.
6. Enter the 2 micro-deposit amounts. Correctly entering the micro-deposit amounts will complete validation of your account.

I never received the email confirmation after completing the 'Sign-up' form:

The confirmation email is sent immediately after the sign up form is submitted. Send a request to have the email resent to our Contact Us page.
If you have not received the email in 24 hours, your email service provider is blocking emails from gValidate.com.
You will need to contact the provider and have the emails unblocked or sign up for one of the free email services online (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail).

How do I make a digital signature/image file to upload?

1. Sign a blank piece of white paper.
2. Use your scanner and scan the sheet at 300dpi.
3. Using your scanner software, crop the image. Select only the signature and omit the remainder of the paper.
4. Save the scanned signature image in the .gif file format.

We recommend that you save the file to your Documents folder so you will be able to find the file when needed.

5. This completes the process of creating a digital signature.

Use this file when it is requested in the VersaCheck Pay submission process by selecting "Upload a scanned image of your signature".

How do I put 2 signatures on a check?

If you must use 2 signatures for this, you will need to create an image to upload.
Follow the instructions below to create the file:
1. Have both signers sign a blank piece of white paper in the same way they would the check.
2. Use your scanner and scan the sheet.
3. Using your scanner software, crop the image to only include the signatures.
4. Save the scanned signature image in one of the following formats: .gif, .jpg, or .png
5. This completes the process of creating a digital signature.

Use this file when it is requested in the VersaCheck Pay submission process by selecting "Upload a scanned image of your signature".

There is no popup for the Signature screen or the Reuse Signature screen.

This problem occurs most often with Internet Explorer browser so you might try FireFox or Chrome (recommended).
Otherwise, JavaScript may be disabled on your internet browser. You must enable JavaScript to submit a signature.

My account was submitted. What do I do next? (hint: Validate the Account)

1. Wait for 2 micro-deposits to show on your bank account.
2. Sign in to gValidate.com, locate your bank account and click ‘Validate’.
3. Enter the 2 micro-deposit amounts.
Correctly entering the micro-deposit amounts will complete validation of your account.

What if I submit an account with the wrong account number or routing number?

You can correct the mistake when a VersaCheck Pay representative contacts you to verify your submission.
Or you can correct the mistake as described in the next FAQ.

How do I edit my bank account information?

1. Sign in to gValidate.com and click the 'Details' link next to your account.
2. Locate the information you want to change and click 'Edit'.
3. Make the desired changes and click 'Submit'.
Please note that if you change the bank account number or routing number for an account,
new micro deposits will be sent and you must use the new amounts to validate (or re-validate) the account.

How do I delete, remove or transfer an account?

NOTE: This process would be used to delete an account from the system. Once this is completed the account will no longer exist.
The account could then be submitted as a new validation if so desired.
1. Sign in to gValidate.com.
2. Click 'Contact Us' at the bottom of the page.
3. In the 'Subject' field select the 'Exception Transfer Bank Account' option. The fields will populate on their own.
4. Click 'Submit'
5. Fill out the 'Exception Transfer an Account' form and click 'Submit'.

Can I edit the Seal that prints on my checks?

A validated stamp will print on the checks. There are 3 different choices for the stamp:
1. The Circular logo that prints in the background of the check
2. A rectangle that prints between the memo line and the signature line.
3. Text that prints between the memo line and the signature line.
The option for the logos is on step 6 of 6 in ‘Edit Checkbook’ of the VersaCheck software.
You would click on the Seal options and select the logo you wish.
If you do not have the Seal option you will need to update your VersaCheck program.

How do I pay a rejected transaction fee?

1. Sign in to gValidate.com.
2. Click 'Details' next to any account highlighted with a pink background.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

How do I allow other users to print from my accounts?

You can add up to 5 other VersaCheck Pay users who can print checks for and/or manage your Validated account(s).
NOTE: The user you wish to add must first sign up with versaheckPay.com and confirm their email address.
You will need to then designate them as a 'Subordinate' with printing and/or account rights.
Please do the following:
1. Sign in to gValidate.com.
2. Click 'Details' next to your account.
3. In the 'Subordinate Users' section click the 'Add Subordinate User' button.
4. Enter the user email address (their email address must already be signed up with gValidate.com).
5. Click 'Submit' when finished.

How change the Nickname of an account

1. Sign in to gValidate.com and click the 'Details' link next to your account.
2. Locate the information you want to change and click 'Edit'.
3. Make the desired edits and click 'Submit'.

How to reset a Lost/Forgot Password:

Please do the following:
1. Go to gValidate.com.
2. Click 'Forgot Your Password?' at the top of the page.
3. Fill out the form and click the 'Submit' button.
4. Follow the resulting 'Password Reset' instructions.

How do I change my log in email address?

1. Sign in to gValidate.com.
2. Click 'Profile' from the menu bar.
3. Click 'Email Address' under 'Change:'
4. Complete the form.
5. Click 'Submit' when finished.

How do I find my gCard number(s)?

1. Sign in to gValidate.com.
2. Locate your account, then Click 'View' under the 'gCard' column heading.

How do I cancel a gCard?

1. Sign in to gValidate.com.
2. Locate your account, then click 'View' under the 'gCard' column heading.
3. Locate your gCard, then click 'Details'.
4. Click the 'Block gCard' button.
The gCard will now be blocked from use.

How do I get Paid?

1. Send your payor to www.gValidate.com to sign up.
2. After sign up, payor validates their bank account and is provided with a gCard number.
3. You (payee) upgrade your account to Premium on gValidate.com.
4. Payee clicks 'Get Paid' button.
5. Payee enters payor gCard number and amount to be paid - this automatically creates an eCheck.
6. Once released by payor, payee clicks 'Transactions', locates the eCheck and prints it for deposit.

If I reinstall my check writing software, do I need to revalidate my accounts?

No. Once an account is submitted and validated you do not have to do this again.
1. Your software, on a new install, will ask you to validate the account again as it does not know that you have already done this.
2. Simply ignore/cancel those messages and print your check as normal.
3. You will be asked to sign in to print and send, use your VersaCheckPay email address and password.
4. Go to the last step in the printing process and choose to PREVIEW the check. This will verify the account and validate it in the software.
